Since we launched brickd back in March of 2024, we've always been about one thing: LEGO sets. You can collect them, organize and discover new ones and share in those experiences with your friends and followers.

Last week, we launched Discussions, which helped you talk about about LEGO related topics with the community outside just sharing and building your sets. This helped us get valueable feedback from you!

What we have learned is there is alot of you that want to track your minifigures on brickd, not only just sets, and show off your collection to your friends. Today, we are announcing that Minifig Collections are coming to brickd!

On our app (1.7.1) and web, you can now create, manage and view your Minifigures all in once place. Once you create new collection, you can specify if it's for Sets or Minfigs to allow them to be seperate. If you select Minifigs, you can choose to have us auto-import all your previously added sets minifgures, AND also any new ones automatically, to get you started. You can also just create an empty collection and add them yourselves!

Each Collection Item Minifig, has similar attributes like sets. You can add a location of where you got it, a customized note and even the date in which you acquired it. Have multiples of a minifig? You can also add this information as well!

We keep track of which set the minifigure is a part of, and show that on it's detail page and collection list.

When you go to the search search in the app, you will now see a tabbed interface, showing both Sets and Minifigures in one view to make it easier!

While we get our data from Rebrickable, there is no unified list of all Minifigs out there including photos. While we have a majority of them, some we are missing metadata around including description and image. To help combat this, we've added a feature to propose an edit for Minifgures to add in that relevant data and help the community grow! You can propose an edit on the web or app, by tapping the Edit icon on the top right-hand corner of the screen.
